The Firm

Our Firm as it was established in 1/7/1996 by our pragmatic Mr. Wong Kong Fatt was known as Messrs. KF Wong & Co, Advocates & Solicitors.  From then on our firm grew and expanded considerably. And in 1/1/1998, Mr. Alex Lee Sow Siong joined our Mr. KF Wong as a partner and since then our Firm has been known as Messrs. KF Wong & Lee (effective from 1/1/1998). On the 23/5/2000, we expanded our operations and legal services by setting up our first branch office in the Negeri Sembilan region at Seremban Jaya, follow by our Kuala Lumpur branch offices were opened at Taman Connaught, Cheras and Old Klang Road branch respectively on 3/7/2007 & 3/11/2014. It is our intention that we should ably serve the needs and requirements of our clients in the Klang Valley, Shah Alam and Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur.

To date we have chosen to remain as a distinctively medium sized firm of Advocates & Solicitors, doing general practice but also preferring to concentrate on several key areas of the law and legal advisory practice in order to enhance the level of expertise and specialist advice provided in each area of our practice. Our particular strengths are consolidated in the areas of real property, banking & finance, corporate & commercial, partnership, equity & trusts, wills & distribution of estates, incorporation of limited company, intellectual property, civil litigations, company insolvency matters & bankruptcy, foreclosure proceedings, motor vehicles claims, receivership, company secretarial practice, arbitration & mediation and similar matters.

At KF WONG & LEE, we do not restrict our role to that of legal advisers only.  We see ourselves as a one-stop agency in providing corporate advisory services and through our flexible streamlined practice, we are able to source other non legal expertise and resources should the circumstances of our clients require it.  We aim to help our clients succeed in their enterprises and as such we make it a point to understand their business objectives.  Thus, at the initial stage of a project, we convene with our clients including making attendance at the client’s board’s meeting(s) to strategise and plan the direction and progress of any given client’s project.  We therefore are able to assist our clients in the co-operation of their projects and the fruition of our clients’ aspirations.

We have assisted our client in sourcing finance for their projects, putting them in touch with potential financiers as well as negotiating the financial arrangement on their behalf.  At the preliminary stages of a project, tax issues need to be addressed in order to determine the best approach on the project and on these we provide legal advise to our clients or depending on the complexity of the matter, arrange for tax agents/ experts to provide analysis in the matter. Our clients include the government/statutory bodies or agencies, privatised entities, leading banking & financial institutions, corporations, businesses and private individuals.  We take pride that our clients who have been with us from our inception days have remained loyal and supportive, showing us their trust and confidence in our performance.
